1,5 cl De Kuyper Crème de Cacao White
0,7 cl Chartreuse, green

Tony Gurdian, lead barman at the acclaimed restaurant Imperial, in Portland, Oregon created the Dutch Alexander in 2015 as a play off the original Alexander cocktail that eventually became the very famous brandy Alexander. The original Alexander is made with gin and never gained as much fame as his brandy counterpart. In his recipe Gurdian uses Dutch jenever (also known Dutch gin or Hollands), which has a much maltier palate than English gin.
